The 45th Japanese Peptide Symposium was held at Tower Hall Funabori in Tokyo on October 29-31, 2008 under the auspices of the Japanese Peptide Society.
The Symposium was a co-operative effort of the following participants: the Chemical Society of Japan; the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan; the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry; the Japanese Biochemical Society.
Five hundreds thirty-eight participants participated in the Symposium, which consisted of two award lectures, three invited lectures presented by professor Teruo Nishida of Yamaguchi University and by Korean Peptide Society, twenty-six oral presentations, twenty-six young oral presentations, and one hundred sity-five poster presentations.

Protein/Peptide Sequence Database (PRF/SEQDB)

This database consists of amino acid sequrences of peptides and proteins.
You can search the database with a short amino acid sequence (fragment) as a probe.

Synthesized Compouds Database (PRF/SYNDB)

Unnatural amino acids, amino acid derivatives and chemically synthesized peptides are registered.
Synthetic intermediates are also collected.
You can search literature about chemical synthesis by components and so on.

SEQDB contains 1,326,246 entries (436,831,562 residues)
SYNDB contains 262,713 entries
